Nora Chinwe

Is a Nigerian director based in Los Angeles. Her debut short film Alkebulan: Viva Africa screened at festivals worldwide, including the International Film Festival Detmold (Germany) where she also served on the jury, Rwanda film festival, Dublin Independent film festival, Indie Short Fest, and more.

Nora has directed music video for top-charting Nigerian artists including DJ Spinall, Phyno, and Reekado Banks amongst others. She’s also worked as a mentee on commercial sets for clients such as CECRED, LEMME, and the feature, Little Lorraine.

Born and raised in Nigeria, Nora’s work explores cultural duality and aims to bridge African and Western narratives through bold, intentional storytelling.
