Nora Chinwe
is a Nigerian filmmaker based in New York. Born and raised in Nigeria and The U.S, her work explores cultural duality, bridging African and Western narratives through bold, intentional storytelling. Her debut short film Alkebulan: Viva Africa screened at festivals worldwide, including the International Film Festival Detmold, where she also served on the jury, as well as the Rwanda Film Festival, Dublin Independent Film Festival, and Indie Short Fest. Her latest film, 29 Rooms, is set for release August 2026.
